1. Booking, Fares, and Payments (ATR-Specific)

South Air operates domestic flights within Pakistan exclusively using ATR 72-600 aircraft, serving short- and medium-haul routes across Pakistan KHI, GWD,TUK,UET,SKZ,MJD,MUX,LYP,LHE,SDT,GIL,KDU,UET & PEW

Bookings are available via South Air website, Mobile App, authorized travel agents,
OTAs, airport ticket offices, and call center. Tickets are confirmed upon full payment.

All ATR 72 flights operate with Multiple RBD structure Economy as well as Business class seating. Fare brands may include NIL,20KG,30KG bifurcation with different change and baggage conditions.

ATR fares include: – Economy seat – Cabin baggage allowance Limited to 07 kg, Checkedin baggage varies and printed on ticket coupon, route wise hot/cold meal service is available to Club/Economy Class passengers on payment/FOC basis depending upon selected fare type. Additional services such as checked baggage, seat selection, and priority handling may be chargeable.

– Date/flight changes: Permitted with applicable fee and fare difference
– Route changes: Allowed within ATR network only. First change is FREE
– Name changes: Only minor spelling corrections will be allowed

Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days to the original form of payment, subject to fare rules.

2. Baggage Policy (ATR 72 Limitations)

Due to ATR overhead bin size limitations: – 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg (small trolley or soft bag) – Maximum size strictly enforced – Excess or large cabin bags may be tagged and loaded in the hold at the gate

Checked baggage allowance depends on fare type: i.e. NIL, 20KG, 30KG for Economy and NIL, 25KG & 35KG for Business Class. ATR cargo capacity is limited; excess baggage acceptance is subject to availability.

Excess baggage is charged per kg as per domestic tariff and may be restricted on full flights due to weight limitations.

Yes. Foldable strollers and wheelchairs are accepted free of charge and carried in the aircraft hold.

Accepted only as checked baggage, subject to size, weight, and load limitations. Advance notice is strongly recommended for ATR flights.

3. Flight Operations & Check-in (ATR Reality)

Passengers should arrive minimum 2 hours before departure due to manual loading and weight-balance requirements on ATR aircraft.

Online check-in opens 24 hours and closes 2 hours before departure.

Boarding closes 20 minutes before departure to allow for manual baggage loading and load-sheet finalization.

ATR flights may be affected by weather, runway conditions, or airport limitations. Passengers are offered rebooking or refund as per policy.

Via South Air website, Mobile APP, Agent’s portal, call center, or SMS/email alerts (where available).

Paid seat selection where applicable
– Families with infants seated together subject to weight-balance constraints

Failure to check in on time results in No-Show, and ticket value may be forfeited as per fare rules

4. Special Assistance & Travel Requirements (ATR-Specific)

Wheelchair requests must be made 48 hours in advance. Boarding is via stairs only at
most domestic stations (Assistance will be provided).

UM service is available for children 5–12 years, subject to limited cabin supervision
capacity on ATR flights.

– Infants (<2 years): Lap-held, limited bassinets not available on ATR
– Children (2+ years): Must occupy own seat

– Up to 28 weeks: Allowed without certificate
– Beyond 28 weeks: Medical clearance required

Pets are not accepted on South Air ATR domestic services.

Valid CNIC / Smart CNIC / Passport. Children may travel on B-Form.

Passengers must provide PNR, ticket number, or PIR reference (Property Irregularity Report).

Always quote the Booking Reference (PNR) or Complaint Case Number.
