In his address, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani praised South Air’s vision, calling it “a historic step towards strengthening regional connectivity, enhancing economic inclusion, and expanding access to essential services across Pakistan.” He emphasized that reliable air connectivity for smaller and underserved cities has long been a national requirement — a gap South Air is ready to fill. The Acting President also commended the leadership behind the project, including: Their vision, expertise, and commitment have shaped South Air into a modern, dependable, and future-ready airline. South Air aims to bring better connectivity, economic opportunity, and enhanced accessibility to regions such as South Punjab, Interior Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensuring travelers experience safe, reliable, and comfortable air travel. The launch event also featured SOS Group’s introductory corporate video, along with detailed presentations on South Air’s operational roadmap, future expansion plans, and key strategic partnerships — including agreements with PIA (MRO Services) and PSO (Fueling Services) — strengthening the airline’s technical and operational foundation.
